CHRISTIANS CONFLICT WITH THE BIBLE
The various types of denominations and creeds are clear indications that all is
not well with Christian practice. There is only one Jesus Christ. There is only
one Gospel. The word of GOD is true and truth is invariant. It is reasonable to
say then that the Bible has not been understood. This can be expected as the
word of GOD is spirit. That fact precludes ordinary mental application in the
interpretation and understanding of the Bible.
We shall consider briefly some of these misconceptions, contrasting them with
the Bible. Christians got it all wrong from the beginning. A good deal of them
believe that the commandment which the LORD GOD gave to Adam was in
respect of sexual relations. On the contrary, the LORD GOD blessed sexual
relations at creation as the Bible says in Genesis 1:28. The commandment to
Adam was specific on the knowledge of good and evil. While talking with Eve,
the serpent even confirmed that the fruit was for possessing knowledge of
good and evil like the LORD GOD. Genesis 3:5.
Christians believe that the disobedience of Adam to the commandment led to
the banishment. They then attribute the enmity between GOD and man to this
sin. On the contrary, the ground was cursed for Adam’s disobedience.
Genesis 3:17-19. “And the LORD GOD said: ‘The man has now become
like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to ….live
for ever.’ So the LORD GOD banished him from the Garden of Eden to
work the ground from which he had been taken.” Genesis 3:22-23.
The essence of the banishment for Adam was death in the spiritual and
commencement of life in flesh and blood. Its grave importance is that it denies
flesh and blood the process of eternal life. This is eating the fruit of the tree of
life or being born of Spirit. Revelation 2:7 & 22:14. These can only take place
in the spiritual. Jesus Christ says: “Spirit gives birth to spirit.” John 3:6.
Obsessed in the wrong notion respecting the substance of the enmity,
Christians grope in the dark, unable to reconcile with their GOD. They can't
find the narrow road. Matthew 7:14.
They also believe wrongly that you become born again by giving your life to
Jesus Christ. You are encouraged to believe that employing knowledge of
good and evil to good account by obeying the law leads to eternal life. All of
these conflict with the Bible. The Bible says: “You who are trying to be justified
by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.”
Galatians 5:4. Jesus Christ did not at any time say, ‘give your life to me’ or
‘accept me into your life’ and become born again. Rather, He said, “You must
be born of water and of the Spirit.” John 3:5.
And lastly for now, Jesus Christ shed His blood to establish the New
Covenant. Besides other things, this is for forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:27-
28. Due to ignorance, Christians have neglected this covenant. And so by
default, they reject the promise of GOD in the matters of forgiveness of sins
and salvation. Jesus Christ says: “He who does not love me will not obey
my teaching. Those words you hear are not my own; they belong to the
Father who sent me.” John 14:24.
I came to this understanding when I was taught by the Spirit in my sleep over
a period of years. Now, I’m charged to disseminate this knowledge. The
irreconcilable differences between the Bible and Christian practice are
cataloged in the book: THE TRUE MISSION OF CHRIST. Also, the Bible
stories are looked at as a series of chain of events. The mission of Jesus
Christ is presented as GOD’s plan to rectify what went wrong in the Garden of
Eden. This is how He is the Messiah or the Savior. This book is set to
revolutionize Christian idea about the Bible, perception of salvation, and the
practice of Christian religious faith. The benefit of this is that spiritual
guidance will lead those who are willing unto salvation.
