Propagating The True Mission of CHRIST
|

JESUS CHRIST
In the Garden of Eden, Adam possessed the knowledge of good and evil
independent of the Spirit of the LORD GOD. Enmity between GOD and man
ensued. The knowledge of good and evil is the instrument that Satan employs
to challenge or defy GOD. The only way to ensure that man is not in this
dangerous situation or category is for his spirit to be directed by the Spirit of
GOD. The purpose of the Mission of Jesus Christ is to bring this enmity to an
end by reconciling man with GOD in the spiritual. This paves the way for man's
spirit to be born of Spirit.
After His resurrection, Jesus Christ commissioned baptism for believers.
Baptism should unite us with Jesus Christ in His death and His resurrection. Man
is thus restored to spiritual activity with the LORD GOD. Thus the death of
Adam in the Garden is undone. Man is now born of water. Once more, he has
the opportunity to take the process of eternal life. This is none other that the
Spirit of the LORD GOD directing him on matters of good and evil. Anything
outside of this is irrelevant. This is a necessary condition for man to have
eternal life.
Baptism is a very important step towards eternal life. It is therefore very deep.
The instrument that makes it possible for baptism to achieve its purpose is the
NEW COVENANT. Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross specifically to put
this covenant in place. In order for man to be part of this covenant, he has to
eat the body of Jesus Christ and drink His blood.
During baptism, the promise of GOD that will never fail, becomes fulfilled for us.
In this case, it is to forgive us our sins and remember them no more. It is by
baptism and baptism only that man is washed in the blood of Jesus Christ for
the forgiveness of sins. There is no other way. After all, the Bible tells us that
without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22
Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, man’s sins are forgiven and he is
reconciled with GOD in the spiritual. That completes the process of being born
of water as Jesus Christ puts it.
